Documentary of the traditional crafts show of Yuncheng Industrial Fair in 2019

The autumn rain welcomed the "2019 Yuncheng Industry Expo" at Yuncheng Agricultural Exhibition Center on August 21, 2019. The Urban and Rural Collective Industrial Association was in charge of exhibiting traditional craft products, the live performance of traditional crafts, and the organization and implementation of crafts master selection activities.
Stepping into the exhibition hall of traditional crafts, the first thing that catches your eyes is the important speech of General Secretary XI Jinping: "Excellent traditional culture is the foundation of the inheritance and development of a country and a nation." In the center of the exhibition hall, there is an antique bronze historical artifact from the Qin Dynasty "Saddle Car", which is simple in shape and exquisite in style. The exhibition hall also displays well-known works of Shanxi Yuda, Jiangzhou Chengni inkstone, Guinness Records and other world-class cultural palaces, as well as Chinese arts and crafts industry master LI Aizhen and national intangible cultural heritage project representative inheritor LIN Yongmao, HE Junming, WANG Jiezhong, LI Yanjun and other art masters. The exhibits are rich in diversity and delicate in design and production, which are great attraction to viewers on site.
At the "Industrial Fair", live shows of crafts masters are attracting more and more visitors. The masters lined up on the demonstration stage just behind the main exhibition hall, showcasing their talents. Visitors are able to experience and interact with masters about the charm of traditional Chinese culture at close range. LI Aizhen, the representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage project Jishan Luodian technique, performed in person, with extraordinary skills and superb skills. There are other handicrafts such as Jiangzhou Chengni inkstone, Huanghe cloud sculpture, Jiwenzhai's pen-making, and woodblock pictures. The performances seemed to take visitors back to Ming and Qing dynasties.
Municipal Party Committee Secretary LIU Zhihong and other city leaders visited the traditional crafts exhibition hall. They carefully listened to the production of the products and watched the live performances of the master with great interest, and finally they expressed acknowledgement of the achievements of the traditional crafts in our city. CHEN Jianguo, Executive Secretary of the China National Light Industry Council, and ZHANG Tao, Director of the Provincial and Urban Association, and ZHANG Junfeng, President of the Shaanxi Industrial Art Association, and directors of the Association of Taiyuan, Datong, Yangquan and other brother cities were invited to attend the "Industry Fair". They visited the traditional craft exhibition hall, and watched the live performances. The event further enhanced the influence of our traditional culture in the country.
In order to successfully host the traditional craft exhibition activities of the "Industrial Fair", the Urban and Rural Collective Industrial Association has carefully screened 37 well-known enterprises to participate in the exhibition. Nearly 100 craft masters performed on the stage. It is an exhibition of our traditional arts and craftsmanship and it helps accelerate the development of industrial integration. 15 companies including Shanxi Yuda Bronze Culture and Art Co., Ltd., Jiangzhou Chengni Inkstone Research Institute, were awarded the "Best Boutique Award for Traditional Craft Display" by the Organizing Committee of the "Industrial Fair". Masters were awarded the "Best Demonstration of Traditional Craftsmanship by the Organizing Committee of the Industry Fair", such as MA Jing from Jishan Luodian Lacquerware Research Center and ZHAO Sumei from Xin Jiang Jiwenzhai pen-maker.
In recent years, the Urban and Rural Collective Industrial Association has implemented the deployments of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, and actively organized various exhibitions for cultural exchanges. It organized crafts masters in supporting and training rural people in villages in line with the realization of the "four strategic goals" and the construction of Yuncheng.
